Hi, my name is Akay Akagunduz and I am the founder of tavshan.com, where you will find my personal work portfolio in addition to a blog about web development and design topics. I am currently employed at Nexum Creative, in Istanbul. What so little spare time I have left in life, I prefer to spend it in “Web Development” and “Web Design”. I am also an interface developer.

I was born in 1987, in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Although I am 22 years old, I worked hard to become where I am today, building upon my career which started when I was 17. With some multitude of experience now, and being passionate about what I do, I try time-management to the best of my capability. So, I do not consider myself the usual workaholic, you know, looking at a computer screen 24/7.

tavshan.com, as a blog, focuses on a broad range of topics in the area of, well you know what. However, it is not only limited to web development and design, it also includes updated news and info for my current and prospective clients, so it is varied.

Tavshan, just to let those who do not know Turkish, means Rabbit, which explains the signature ears on most of my work. One thing I will not compromise, and I say this with all honesty, is my devotion to creativity and quality. If you have noticed, I like all my wordpress themes to carry something unique and the “never-done-before.” All my themes should be in compliance to web standards, and without errors, THOUGH: To err is human, to forgive is divine!
